Maynooth Community College was established in 2014 under the patronage of Kildare and Wicklow Education and Training Board. Maynooth Community College is a co-educational, multidenominational second level school. We offer education through both the medium of Irish and English to the students of Maynooth and its surrounding areas. Maynooth Community College opened on the premises of Maynooth Post Primary and both schools are looking forward to moving to two new premises which are currently under construction and due for completion in the near future. Maynooth Community College offers the traditional Junior Certificate and Leaving Certificate both through the mediums of Irish and English. We also have a moderate unit for students with specific special educational needs, We also offer an optional transition year, the Leaving Cert Vocational Programme (LCVP) and the Leaving Cert Applied Programme (LCA) at Senior Cycle.
Maynooth Community College is a community of students, staff and parents working together to create a warm and caring learning environment in which all of our students can achieve their full potential. We value the unique contribution of each individual student in an atmosphere of tolerance, partnership and mutual respect. We provide a nurturing climate in which students can grow and develop academically, socially, culturally, physically and spiritually.
