Maynooth Education Campus PTA - ‘Working for Both Schools’
The Maynooth Education Campus Parent Teacher Association, (MECPTA) serves as a communication interface between the parents and guardians of the attending pupils and the staff and functions of the schools’. The main purpose of the PTA is to help both Maynooth Post Primary and Maynooth Community College in the provision of the best, safest and healthiest possible learning environment for the attending students.
Its committee attends regularly scheduled monthly meetings on the 2nd Tuesday of each month throughout the school year and is comprised of members of the school staff, the Principals’ and the deputy Principals and Parents/ Guardians who kindly volunteer their time and support towards the activities of the association. Utilising scheduled events, donations and the proceeds of the Maynooth 10k to fund all the activities we support and provide throughout the school year.
Following the yearly AGM an executive committee of Chairperson, Secretary, Treasurers, and their respective assistants are elected into office by the committee members. with the AGM held at the start of each school year.
