Maynooth Education Campus Choir
Maynooth Education Campus Choir was established in 2015. It is a mixed voice choir consisting of students from first to sixth year. The choir is not audition based and prides itself on its inclusive ethos. All students from the school community are encouraged to participate in what is a musical celebration of cultural diversity through the medium of choral singing. Currently the choir numbers over one hundred and thirty students.
The choir enjoys a busy performance schedule including a Christmas concert, school welcome ceremonies and graduations, fundraising events in the local community, concerts for local senior citizens, and of course…. competitions!
The choir recently achieved 1st place at the Navan Choral Festival in 2017. The students were thrilled with their performance on the day and eagerly await the next opportunity to sing their hearts out!
Maynooth Education Campus Chamber Choir
Maynooth Education Campus Chamber Choir is a brand new mixed voice choir consisting of thirty-six students from first to sixth year. It was established as recently as September 2016 and admission is audition based.
To date the choir has enjoyed a busy performance schedule including a Christmas concert, school welcome ceremonies and graduations, fundraising events in the local community, concerts for local senior citizens and performing at the Educational Training Boards National congress at the KClub last December
The choir recently achieved 2nd place at the Cork International Choral Festival in 2017 and is already making big plans to sing their hearts out in 2018!
