If you’re a student aged 12 or over, you can apply for our new MEC student card which is also an International Student Card.
The card is an ISIC Irish Second Level Student's Union card and the initiative is being rolled out by MECs Student Council.
This ISIC card allows students around the world to instantly prove their official student status and access over 150,000 student discounts and offers worldwide. Examples include sports brands, Samsung, Apple, pizza, gyms, Easons, Nike, Urban Outfitters, Quiz and anywhere that offer student discounts. Also booking.com for travel, flights, etc. This card could prove very useful for holidays and trips this Summer and beyond.
It costs 12 euros to apply and application forms are available now from Ms Mahon in C10.
Cards will be issued in school Monday 16th May
Simply fill in an application form and bring along €12 on the day.
We will verify your age from VSWare and ID photos will be taken as you sign up in the canteen area.
